Decentralized Incubation Program
Nurturing the growing ecosystems that support the advancement & adoption of the prototype solutions of our next digital infrastructure.
#ODYSSEYINC

A SUPPORT SYSTEM LEVERAGING AN ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM TO ENSURE THE SOLUTION’S SUCCESS.

Odyssey Incubation Program connects the winning prototype solutions of the Odyssey Hackathon with governmental, corporate and non-profit launching partners to further solve complex societal challenges with innovative solutions using blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies, with a collaborative approach to innovation. The program aims to prepare these prototype solutions to MVPs ready for mass adoption.

Every groundbreaking solution needs a made-to-measure approach to incubate. That’s why, the program is decentralized where every team and solution can thrive with the help of a committed ecosystem focused specifically on the needs of each prototype. Odyssey mobilizes a global ecosystem of more than 6,000 members among whom developers, creatives, startups, corporates, investors, governmental bodies, legal experts, regulators, scientists, and other key industry stakeholders who tap into each other’s knowledge and resources to enable exponential innovation.

Through the power of mass collaboration, Odyssey Decentralized Incubation Program ensures the success and continuation of the best solutions of our future open digital public infrastructure and digital commons.

Meet Our Incubation Lead

Vic_4

Victoria Ous.

Victoria will be the third side of the coin in your incubation. She knows both you and your solution and the consortium behind the challenge and their goals. She can advise you on way(s) to go as she knows the missions and goals of all Odyssey’s partners, friends, incubators, launching customers and super accelerators.

F.A.Q. INCUBATION

Out of 64 participating teams in the April 2018 Hackathon, 14 have found funding and are in pre-production or production mode, often with their launching customer.

Some of our notable alumni are:

  • Kryha. Won the 2018 Hackathon by combining blockchain and AI to create intelligent drone swarms for search and rescue operations. They were recently invited to speak about GREX, the decentralized hivemind, at the MIT Robotics Symposium.
  • Unchain created a system for tracking and identifying expired or counterfeit drugs in Africa, helping to prevent the annual €33 bln medical fraud and streamlining humanitarian aid operations.
  • Lemon Care uses blockchain to enable the interoperability of medical records and prevent medical data loss. Their project Hospital at Home is supported by University Medical Center Groningen.

You qualify by either winning your challenge or getting selected by a Super Accelerator.

Yes, of course! Last season, we helped a total of 16 non-winners by connecting them to experts, potential clients, and funding.

Nothing. There is no fee or share involved. Together with our partners and the ecosystem, we want you to succeed. That’s why all partners are willing to provide you with this ‘highest-chance-of-success program’.

No. This is a Decentralized Program with an enormous value for your development (we think) but you are not obliged to participate or sign anything when participating.
